VOIP

I would like to use VOIP in my office. Where would I go to find the full
details on how to set up my PCs to use this? I currently have 4 lines using
vonage as my provider. Would I set up a PC with 4 modems to attach my phone
lines from my vonage/linksys adapters? if so how would the calls get
forwarded to the workstations? I am having a new "Small Business Server"
installed in my office to use "Exchange Server" could this machine control my
phonelines? Would my desk phones be plugged into the unused built in modem in
our workstations? I would eventually like to install plantronics CS50
wireless headsets which are compatible with Win XP. All inpurt will be
greatly appreciated.

Why are you trying to run your phone lines through your computers at all? If
you are using VOIP then you already have broadband. Your computers will use
the LAN for Internet access, VOIP has nothing to do with the computers. The
only place your phone lines and LAN will touch will be at the phone router.

If you need specialty services such as the ablility to fax from your
computer then you should contact Vonage tech support and find out how best to
set that up with the system they have provided for you.
