I have XP pro and have installed Visual Studio 6.0,
however it does not display the hyperlinked objects in the
program. On Windows 2000 and 98 no problem, just XP. I
have installed Microsoft virtual machine to no avail. Am I
missing a java applet, any help appreciated. Cheers!

Are these links, links to help files? If so then you may not have MSDN
library installed.
If not help links then no idea sorry

.
Yes, I have the library installed, it is when looking at
the links within this that you get a white square with a
dot, similar to when you do not have java virtual machine
installed. Any more ideas?

You probably need to install the updated HTML Help from KB 811630.
This was required after installing one of four cumulative security updates
for Internet Explorer (MS03-004, MS03-015, MS03-020 or MS03-032).
It also affects links to executables and the 'Related Topics' links in
XP's Help and Support.
