Visual C++ Runtime Library Error?

M

Marcel

Recently I have been getting these Visual C++ Runtime
Library Error's which lead to an "abnormal program
termination". It's getting really annoying because I can
only view a couple web pages until this error pops up and
it closes all of IE. Help! Thanks so much!

I 'm getting the same thing . Have you found out anything
about how to fix? I've downloaded SP1 and update to SP1 -
but can't seem to get that one to go away ? Let me know if
you find anything out ......

Runtime Library Microsoft Visual C++. Runtime Error Program
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe or Iexplore.exe, abnormal program termination.
http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/CommonName.html

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Buffer overrun detected!
Program: C:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe
A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's
internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be
terminated.
This has been confirmed as parasites.

Runtime!
"Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\explore.exe"
The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6. Source:
