Visual C++ Runtime Error

Runtime Error!

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Experience this problem while installing World of Warcraft: Wrath of the
Lich King. I have .net framework 3.5 service pack 1 installed along with
visual c++ 2005 sp1 and 2008 SP1. The Blizzard Technical Support member
exhausted all troubleshooting techniques, and suggested I contact microsoft
directly. I'm getting a new computer anyways so it's pretty pointless to
spend 60 dollars. I'dappreciate some customer-based support. thanks for your
time.

Get in touch with the WOW Support team again because it's their product you
are installing that is causing the issue

That is running from your TEMP folder

Have you tried deleting the contents of the temp folder & trying again?
