Vista windows mail notifications

I have set up my windows mail email accounts and all works great apart from
the notifications. I get a sound and a little icon in the taskbar area but
did prefer the old outlook express way of getting a seperate window to appear
with the words "New mail has arrived" and then allowed you the option to read
it now.

Anyway of setting windows mail to do this?

Outlook Express never had that option. You must have had some third party
program.

Outlook Express never had that option. Outlook is a different program.
Windows Mail descended from Outlook Express and, like all versions of OE,
does not have that option.
