I just got a new 22" widescreen samsung LCD monitor. I have some divx videos
that have the 'black bars' on the top and bottom of the movie and i would
like to 'zoom-in' so the movie part takes up the whole screen. How can you do
this on Windows Media Player 11? tks.

-i tried the zoom 200% feature and the black bars are still the same size. i
know u can do this on other video players.

If the movie is in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, the black bars are normal as the
movie is wider than the screen. Zooming in will cause loss of picture
information at the sides of the movie.
Many people still complain that they have black bars when watching certain
DVDs on widescreen TVs!
