Vista Vs MAC

Last weekend I have tried Vista the first time. I have some COM dlls that
my client wants to know if
they still work under Vista or not, I was very frustrating to see a stupid
problem like that takes a lot of time
to figure out how to register these dll . I can not believe how beginer
users can use Vista with so much stupid
questions about the security .

Have you actually used Mac OS? Guess what? You need to type your admin
username and password to do system-wide things.

Someone points me to this video, that's exactly what I feel when using Vista
..

First let me say that I use and like Vista. I have no problem whatsoever
with UAC. Once I got past the initial setup of the system and the culture
shock of UAC, it rarely bothers me. I dare say it's not really noticeable
anymore.

That said, this Apple commercial if funny. Most of this series is funny. It
doesn't really matter what the truth is, it's just funny. If you can't see
the humor in this, maybe you should think about taking a break from these
NGs for a while.

From a marketing perspective, I imagine that dozens of people who would have
just blindly bought a PC will now consider a Mac and then buy a PC.

honestly I only used MAC for my assembly programming course in university
10 years ago :).
But the video is very well made :)
I can not imagine how, for ex, my sister, who doesn't know anything about
security, can dare to click
on Yes/No button of multiple questions about security in Vista like that.

It may be funny but I don't buy products based on misinformation. But yea,
for the dumbass masses it works. I don't want a Mac monitor with a camera
built in. Camara fails and you have to send the whole computer back for
repair. How dumb is that? Discrete components are always superior for that
reason alone. Apple tells lies to the dumb masses and are scumbags.

The security one is the ONLY commercial of theirs that gives any version of
truth. OSX bothers the user as well but not nearly as much as Vista. In
all other cases, those commercials lie through their teeth! False
impressions all around.

One example, PC is only good for Excel? Then why does it hold the largest
gamer market share between all other OSs for PC based hardware.

Second example, OSX by itself doesn't come with squat! Apple preloads
software. Plus you'll note they address PC and not Windows. Thus many many
many OEMs bundle tons of preloaded software with PCs. Thus their claim that
PCs come with nothing is another false impression.

Here's another thought to ponder...OSX....runs on a....PC!
