I have been impressed by the Nforce2 motherboard drivers
vista has as standard, I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with
AMD Athlon 2800+ 1.5 gig ddr2700 a BFG 7800 GS 256 meg AGP
video card 20" sony lcd s204e. video and sound on desktop
work great. the more i use Vista and office 2007 beta the
more dependent i become on it. By the time it comes out
the small bugs.... will be worked out. i have been really
impressed so far. I will upgrade my desktop hardware midpoint
or at the end of 2007. I have even installed vista on my laptop
Gateway mx7515 amd athlon64 1meg 4000+ 1gig ddr333
ati x600 and it runs it great I,m impressed so far.

I concur but Id have to say at this same point in the XP preview things were
much better. I was able to use the preview of XP on my daily machine.
Vista is still very rough and I need a second partition.

Creative as usual are a day late and a dollar short :) (Too bad it's OUR
dollar though, hehe)

Stance I have a similar system as your's, except with the XP-3200. The only
problem is my Mobo has a MIDI port for which I still use the Microsoft
Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro Joy Stick. I cannot find the Sidewinder Game
controller anywhere in Vista. In addition, Vista does not pick-up the
gameport from the motherboard. It can see it sitting there, but cannot find
any drivers for it. Minus all the other things wrong with this Beta, this is
all I am short of being sold on Vista. I go online a lot playing the IL-2 FB
flight simulator, but there seems to be a problem trying to build the game up
from the installation disks. Vista seems not to allow one disk to follow the
other during the build.

Any suggestion?
