Vista update of 5/30/2008- now have unexpected restart...again

Same as last (two?) updates! My computer accepted a Microsoft update on
5/30/2008 and then began restarting every 15 or so minutes. I rolled it
back. How useless. I am a software developer. I cannot believe they cant
get Vista to to stop rebooting itself through an update! I can accept a
glitch resulting from some obscure compatability or strange driver, but cmon-
I have what came packaged from the manufacturer! This computer isnt even a
year old. This is really weak compatability testing. They are supposed to
be software giants.

What is Steven Sinofsky's explanation for this?

HTH should any of us know what Steven Sinofsky thinks? Why don't you ask
him?

As for your problem, you gave absolutely no information about your computer
so no one can help you. My Vista box doesn't have this issue nor do any of
my clients' Vista machines. There's something wrong with yours but you
didn't even tell us what update you installed.

If you want help, post back with the information needed. Or contact the free
Windows Update support.

maybe you need to turn off auto updates and change to the notify me option instead.
then you can evaluate the update to see if you really need/want it.

why not uninstall he update that you think is causing the problem.
