Vista Ultimate with MUI?

When I installed RC1 (German) a while ago, Windows Update
offered additional language pack(s?) for download. I installed
English as my second language and was able to switch between
the two with no apparent problem. Does the RTM version of
Ultimate offer different languages? And if so, how about Business
(which I'm most likely going to buy)?

The OP did ask about Ultimate. btw, you can assume that Enterprise also
will support MUI's.

Almost perfectly answered ;-) So Business doesn't have this
feature, right? That would be to sad. I really hoped to get
away with buying the Business Edition as the (second) most
"professional" one.

Another question: will I be able to upgrade to Ultimate by
buying a respective "upgrade"-key (Business to Ultimate)
later on?

If you participate in a software assurance or other volume licensing program
you can upgrade through your volume licensing administrator. If you are a
consumer you can upgrade through the Anytime Upgrade website. However, MS
states that buying Business and then using AU to upgrade to Ultimate is more
expensive than just buying Ultimate in the first place.

There are other features of AU that give me pause for thought before using,
such as the upgrade certificate which is only good for one use (MS strongly
advises the use of an image backup program in order to protect your
investment). In other words, you must prepare carefully before transferring
your upgraded system to another computer and you must do solid disaster
recovery planning.

Yes, you can. All you have to do to upgrade to ultimate is to right click on
'computer', select properties... there you will see an option under 'Windows
edition' called 'upgrade my version of windows'. Click on that option and
the process will begin.

It's called Windows Anytime Upgrade.

Thank you both. That is interesting info. I have to rethink
my buying decision, since I want that MUI feature but
certainly not the potential license-trouble.
