Vista Ultimate and XBOX MCE

Hi All,

just finished udating to vista ultimate and have an issue with the XBOX 360,
the XBOX is connected via RJ45 to a 100MB network to the desktop.

When I try to setup MCE it gets to step Setting Media Locations (6325) and
ticks that it then moves to Connecting to Extender but fails to go any
further, on the XBOX it has "Contacting". I have tried it both with and
without a firewall issue remains.

If I run the network test it tells me it has slow performance.

I have also tried WMP11 media sharing and it works fine for video and music.

Any assistance very much appreciated.

I have the same problem,my media locations gets up to 10,000 some(what this
means ,i have no idea)then it stalls out conecting to the pc,Says my
internet conection is to slow.I have high speed DSL, that works great with
XP.
I was really getting excited about going out and buying Vista next week,but
now i am kinda disapointed.
I have been playing around on Vista for a few months now ,but never tried it
with xbox till now.
Hope someone out there has a clue on this.
