Vista SP1 (Beta) 'refresh' - released to the public

I recommend this, but only if you are able to take the risk of losing
data--please have a good backup.

That said, I have had no issues with this build but your mileage may well
vary. Be aware that the installation process may involve multiple runs of
Windows Update and a final install process for the SP that may be measured
in hours (but no interaction required once it is fully started.)
Additionally, you may need to remove it before installing the final SP--this
is not usually the case with public releases, but I haven't heard otherwise
about this one. The remove process is similar to the install--basically,
push the button and wait a good long while.

I would not play with this unless you are prepared to reformat just in case
something goes wrong.
I would only play with this if it was a test machine and you did not care to
reformat
With what happend to a lot of people with the latest updates for vista- I
would be very causious to "play with this"
