Yep, known bug with FP 2003 and Vista, no ETA on a fix. Sorry. For what
it's worth it happens to me every time, too. :-(

FWIW, I dragged and dropped my entire FP2003 "ResearchRiders" project from
my old XP Pro system with FP2003 over to a Vista with Visual Studio 2005,
SP1-for-vista and was able to open, build and run the project with (so far)
only one page that has problems I have a page with several frames and
while it shows up in source view it will not show up in design view. I get
the error message "Design view does not support creating or editing
framesets. To create or edit framesets, use Source view". Image here:
http://stateson.net/pub/fp_vista_err.png I have not gone thru each and every
..htm but it seems if I can fix the frameset problem I can continue
development using VS2005 instead of FP2003.

I think you can get a trial download of VS2005 somewhere.

Thanks for sharing and this is really where the WOW comes in.

I installed FP 2003 and just tested by opening/closing a remote web site
(since I am not the ones doing the web site) and thought everything was
fine.

Like you said, once edit live with a hyperlink, it crashes without mercy.

Just for your information, I also tested FP's brother Expression Web, it is
fine.

Doesn't mean you have to switch just to let you know.

Ha, seems someone really wants to upgrade everything to the latest versions.
