Vista Premium backup

I have been checking for an answer on here about the error 80070057 and have
seen several answers. Every time I have tried I get this error, from what I
have read there is no answer as long as you have premium.

My question is, is this correct. Do I have to go out and buy a backup
program. If so has anyone heard about acronis true image 11 being any good.

If vistas backup up does work, how please

Thanks for any and all help

I just got Acronis True Image about a month ago. I am currently
running it on XP, but I will probably be moving it to a new machine
with Vista. So far I really like it and it is very easy to use.

I have been using Acronis True Image for a few years now and highly
recommend it. It has bailed me out of trouble on more than one occasion.

I do recommend that you have a separate external HD to back up to and always
make sure you have a bootable CD (True Image will make one for you) in case
you cannot boot your computer to the hidden boot partition True Image will
create for you on your primary drive.

As a last caution make sure that the bootable CD has the latest version of
True Image on it. A CD will True Image 10 will not be able to read an image
backup of True Image 11 (I found out the hard way).

Acronis True Image is by far the best imaging software and it is well worth
buying. I use it constantly to image the drives on my machine. Although I
run Vista Ultimate which has its own imaging software I would never use it.
I prefer to use something I am familiar with and that is reliable and that,
for me, is Acronis true Image.
