While i waited with baited breath during the windows vista installation i
found that it installed after about 40 mins.
P4 3.06Ghz
512meg ram
But, upon restart i get the "Aurora" background with the "please wait..."
message and an animated hour glass turning every few mins.
I have yet to see the "true" oobe.
To this point i restarted the computer and booted to safemode and i am going
to try this method and see if there is any improvement.
If there are any ideas regarding why i am getting a sticky screen please let
me know.
from what i have read there is no other messages other then the "please
wait..." which i think end users will find annoying (as i clearly have after
an hour).
