clean install all goes well untill copying windows files get to 20% then
freeze's with both disc's so i re-installed xp home then tryed to upgrade

Could you please provide the hardware specifications of the computer you are
trying to install Vista in? Could you also please provide punctuation?

Hi,

Still sounds like a bad burn. Make sure no AV programs are running and shut
down everything unnecessary while running the burn. When installing, make
sure BIOS antivirus detection schemes are disabled. It may also help to use
a fresh disk if you are using RW media. Have you run CRC checks on the
images and on the disks?

If you can't type any better than you have in this thread, I would think
not. Believe it or not, accuracy counts!

You do realize that you're not going to get a lot of help going forward,
don't you? Sure, his comments were also unnecessary, but your response was
way overboard.
