Vista & IIS

Hi,

I currently use XPPro as it includes IIS webserver which allows me to
develop websites off-line. Does vista include IIS? If not, how would I go
about having offline web development if I upgraded to vista?

Thanks Hugh

Depending on the version, yes Vista includes IIS (a new version with
backwards support for IIS6)

You need Vista Business, Ultimate or Enterprise workstation edition, because
those versions have Web, FTP and Front Page Extensions on IIS 7.0 that
match what IIS 6 has when doing Web development.

Vista Home Premium requires a manual install of IIS. You will find it in...
Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features:
Turn Windows features on or off:
Internet Information Services.
