vista ie 7 hangs

hi,
i'm testing windows vista edition on my laptop which is having 512 MB ddr
ram,40 Gb HDD and cel1.5 processor. although vista is preety cool but
internet explorer is a big problem as it hangs everytime i open it. it says
not responding.. what could be the problem. I also tired to activate office
2007 beta 2 version ..i guess the plugin didnt install properly due to
internet explorer.

please guide.

Start-> all programs-> accessories-> system tools-> internet explorer (no
add-ons)

If that works, disable 3rd party browser add-ons, or work your way through
your add-ons until you figure out which is the culprit. Like I've said in
another thread, Java is a big reason for this problem in some machines.

have the same problem (1024MB ram, 2.0Ghz Turion64, 160GB, 128MB SXWGA)
but, it's still in beta, so well just have to wait and see what's
happening...
