Vista & Hauppauge 1600 Driver Issue

Hi -

I've seen a few posters mention they're using a Hauppauge 1600 with Vista.
I'm running Home Premium, and after downloading the latest drivers from the
support site (3.3C), I cannot get Vista to use (or find) the correct driver.
I'm stumped but hopeful someone here can help before I wuss out and take it
back to the store. It seems like others are getting it to work. BTW I'm
running 32bit.

No problem here with X64 Ultimate and version 3.3C. What error are you
receiving?

I'm opening device manager.
Double click Multimedia Video Controler under 'Other Devices'
Click Update Driver.
Browse to 'Driver' folder that was extracted from the download (3.3C)
(include subfolders is checked)
Click Next
Installation Wizard says: Windows could not find driver software for your
device.

Very frustrating. At first I thought it was a PCI bus problem, so I made
sure the controller had proper drivers and tried again, but no luck.
