Vista Embedded?

Hi all,
Some time ago Microsoft promised to release the embedded version of
Longhorn OS 3 month after the desktop release. When Vista embedded is
scheduled to be released and will it replace XP embedded?

Hi Andrea,

I don't think so. Since Vista embedded kernel will take at least 300MB and
require high ferformance, most embedded platforms don't fit this requirement.
However, Vista embedded (componentized) would be released after 2~3 years,
who knows what the embedded market would be?
