Hello,

I have many expriences of installing and running Vista before, but ths case
is the first situato I have ever met.

Prblem is ;

When I connect devices that are very-normal-and-commn like USB external
drives Vista cannot find drivers files. But, if I tell Vista to find driver
files in 'C:\Windows (include subdirectories)' Vista can find the driver
files that are in somewhere in Vista system.

I don't know what is wrong. I have no idea or clue about this situation.

Any suggestion ?

Thank yu for your time.

C:\windows\inf\INFCACHE.1 is probably corrupt -- a common problem, it
seems. The fix is to delete it, which requires one simple trick.

In explorer, right-click on INFCACHE.1 and go to the securities tab.
Edit the permissions to give full control to the Users group, then you
can delete the file.
