I need some help...
In XP Pro, I was able to right-click on any file and "zip" or "RAR"
it. In Vista Business, I am unable to do so.
WinZIP 9.0 --> I receive the following error:
Error(0): The requested operation requires elevation.
(D:\PROGRA~1\WINZIP\winzip32.exe" -* /addX
C:\users\Traveler\AppData\Local\Temp\wzc3E3.tmp)
Using WinRAR 3.62 --> Right-clicking on the target file and selecting
"add to RAR" results in nothing!
Next... E-mail attachments
In XP Pro, I was able to drag-&-drop a file into my mail application
(Barca 2.5). At that point, it would appear as an attachment. However,
in Vista Business, when I "drop" the file on the mail screen, nothing
happens. I need to insert the attachment via the "add attachment"
button.
Are the above actions typical of Vista? If so, can they be changed?
My system:
