Vista Browser History does not display

[FYIS]

Y'know when in Vista you select that 'star' Favorites Center icon in IE, your browser
history of sites visited displays, well mine doesn't.

I've rechecked my settings, disk space allocated, microsoft & googled for any known
bugs and problems, but all to no avail; now I defer to the experts, any other ideas?
