Vista and Word/Office 2007 problems

I upgraded my PC to Windows Vista and also installed Office 2007. I have not
nothing but problems with Word 2007 since installing Vista. I get the
following error messages when using Word 2007

Changes have been made that affect the global template, Normal.dotm. Do you
want to save those changes? However, no changes were made to the template. I
would be working in a new document and once I close it I get this message.

I also get this message "saving the autorecovery file is postponed for
Normal.dotm".

Please help really frustrated

This is an old Word problem that has nothing to do with Vista. Close Word,
find and delete Normal.dot and this template will be recreated when Word is
reopened. Make sure Folder Options are set to show all extensions and hidden
files. Make sure you are saving files with a DOC extension, not a DOT
extension which is reserved for templates. Check in the "Save As" box for the
correct one.

This has nothing to do Vista. Post it over to the microsoft.public.word newsgroup
