Hello,

I installed Vista 5472 on my IBM ThinkPad R52. After setup I tried connect
to my home WiFi network (Linksys WRV54G with WPA-PSK), but I got an error
message that wifi signal too low and can't connect to them.
The distance between notebook and AP about 2 meters, I think the signal
isn't poor... ;-)
(Before this I was able to connect to this network when I installed XP SP2
or Vista Beta2 on this machine.... Also I can connect now with another
laptop or PDA..)
Have you got any idea, what could be the problem...?

Thanx

Janos

It's entirely possible that the wireless receiver in your notebook computer
needs an updated driver. Check with IBM/Lenovo regarding the availability.

I installed the latest driver before write here (Intel Pro/Wireless AGB,
9.1.0.83/2006.07.31), but it wasn't help...

I switch on the laptop, they found my WLAN, signal strength full...
I try to connect, they ask my WPA key, I type... and immediately get an
error message that signal too low (and signal strength is zero, until I
restart the laptop...)

These are not the most upto date drivers available, i have a lenovo 3000
series notebook, i had many issues with the wireless however i found drivers
on the intel site direct. Youll have to hunt around for a bit, the the most
recent driver for ProSet Wireless cards is 10.0.5.0

Hope this helps

There are Networking Problem's with Build 5472, Just FYI.

Try using an Ethernet Internet Connection Instead, if Possible.
