visited pages not showing in history, etc...

I hope someone might help with a problem I'm experiencing,
starting this morning. No pages that I visit are showing
up in the history list, and also, all of a sudden this
morning the links I visited are not highlighted as they
were before. I assume these problems are related. I can
think of nothing that I did differently today - I just got
onto the internet as usual. I tried clearing all cookies,
and deleting all off-line content. I checked for any
spyware/adware, etc... I didn't do a virus check - I'll do
that now. And of course when all else fails, turn the
computer off and on again. nothing has seemed to work.
Does anyone have any ideas for me to try?
Thanks!
Cheryl

Hi,
When visited links don't change color, this usually indicates a problem with
the History folder or index.dat file. Use the instructions appropriate for
your OS at http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm and delete the History
folder. A new one will be created on restart. This should solve both
problems.

Hope this helps,
Don
