Visio Viewer Plug in Won't Open a Visio 2000 File

I'm trying to share Visio 2000 files with users who don't
have the application. Some of my Visio 2000 files are
viewable with the IE 6.0 browser just fine. However some
of my files return an error that says the file is not a
Visio drawing file.

I've compared all properties of the files that work to
those that don't. The ones that don't open with the visio
viewer plug in, open fine with Visio 2000.

Can anyone offer help on how I can work around this
issue? This is particullarly frustraiting as the only
reason I'm trying to use the viewer is that Visio 2000
won't properly convert all my drawings to a .pdf
file.

I think you might have better luck posting in a newsgroup which
specializes in VISIO.

In case you can't see them using that horrible web interface that
you are using think about using a real newsreader. E.g. enter the
following link if your default newsreader is Outlook Express:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/

If that is not possible be aware that you can see the same list of newsgroups
(a lot more slowly) using the last link on this page:
