Hi, I am desperately seeking help...first of all, I
continuosly delete links from my "favorites" folder in
Internet Explorer, but everytime I restart, the links are
back in my favorites. The same with the home page. I
keep setting the default home page under internet
options, but whenever I restart, it's the same homepage
that has somehow downloaded itself and won't go away. If
anyone at all could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Download, install, UPDATE Immediately, read the HELP FILES, and seek
assistance if you're unsure of what to remove.

Get HijackThis. Install it, Update it and then run it. But DON'T remove
anything until you get help deciphering the scan you will get. Go to the
Spyware Info Forums for help with this. Read the link for the tutorial so
you'll have at least a basic idea of what you're looking at in the log that
will be created.

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
