Virus scan NTFS boot disk

HI,
Is there a way to create a NTFS boot disk and perform a of Windows 2000 or
XP? If not is there an application that will. All I see is DOS boot.

Boot with a Win98 boot disk from www.bootdisk.com,
then load ntfsdos.exe from www.sysinternals.com. This
will make your NTFS drives visible. Will your virus scanner
run under DOS7?
