Virus Problem!

Hi all,

I have problem with Viruses. In my External Hard Disk Drive got virus
after I scaned it with Kaspersky (6.0.2.614) it seems virused have
been killed.

But it has got something strange when I copy a Folder from Local Drive
(C:) and past it in my Ex-HDD after a few second it dissapear from my
Ex-HDD, then I copy and past it again and it ask for replace because
that Folder is already exist but I can not see it in my Ex-HDD.

Anyone knows with this problem can you help me, please?

I like Kasperksy, but since you didn't mention what "viruses" you had/have,
there's no way I can feel sure your computer is clean. Go through the
malware removal steps at the following link to be sure. Do not skip the
prep work.

If after you've done this the computer is really 100% virus/malware-free,
the unnamed viruses may have damaged your operating system. Test by
attaching a different external hard drive or device and seeing if the
problem persists. If it does, then you know it isn't linked to the original
device and you should repair your operating system. If the problem only
occurs with the original device, back up the data on it - after scanning it
with Kaspersky using updated definitions - and format it.

To repair the operating system:

1. Start>Run>sfc /scannow [enter]
You may need to have your XP install CD handy.

2. If that doesn't work, try a Repair Install.
