virus in undo directory

I am getting an adware file in the C:\undo directory that
Norton wants me to delete. The file QaBar.dll is
compressed in the backup.cab. How do I delete a
compressed file from within the backup.cab folder? What
is the undo directory? Can I delete the UNDO directory?
This is a Windows XP Home upgrade installation over
Windows ME. Norton could not delete the file for me and
when I run a search for the file it does not show up.

Someone agreed to install it. Undo isn't a windows folder. What program made it. Perhaps norton's itself.
