VIRUS HELP

My norton sent me a notice saying it detected the
W32.Netsky.B@mm virus have no ideal where it came from
need halp on repair or patches I can download to fix it
thanks for all your help
 
emmmmm, usually if Norton detects it, it also cleans it.
Did you get an error report saying Norton was unable to
clean it??
Netsky can come in using your internet connection, sounds
like you need a firewall of some sort, I suggest zonealarm
from zonelabs, do this ASAP!

If this notice came in an eMail, then it probably didn't come from Symantec,
but rather is a virus disguised as a legitimate notification in order to
lure you into opening it and getting infected. Sneaky devils these virus
writers.

Since you obviously have Norton AntiVirus since you said it found the
worm, why don't you run a virus scan and have Norton delete it?
