Viewing Track Changes

I have a document for which I have accepted all changes. Track changes is
off and for the View I selcted Final in the Review menu. I make changes save
and close. When I open it upa gain, Track Changes and the Review Pane are
again open and the View is Final with markup. How do I get this turned off
for good?

As long as tracked changes are present in the document, Word will
display them when you open the file. If you think there are no changes
or comments in the document, and Word thinks there are some, use the
"previous" and "next" change buttons to go to what Word is seeing.
