Viewing image attachments inside the email itself???

Is it possible to view the image attachments inside the email itself, or do
I always have to double-click the image attachment in its own window?

On my last computer---a MAC, nasty word here I guess, the image attachments
appeared inside the message window.

This is not possible if the images are attachments. In order to see the
images in-line you'll need to create an HTML mail and choose Insert->
Picture... instead of Insert-> Attachment...

Mac's are not nasty - just different the answer is no, outlook does not
support inline viewing of images. OE does...

a friend of mine used outlook express, and it does that function

Yes, but Microsoft Office Outlook doesn't unless the picture is inserted
into the body of the e-mail instead of attached to the mail.
