i cannot seem to view the sources of any site. I right
click and then click on view source but notepad does not
pop up. This happens on every site.

How can I stop this?

Clear the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and delete
offline content.) It's often recommended that the Temporary Internet Files
(folder) be kept at
40-50 MB. Bigger isn't necessarily better.

If you have created a shortcut to Notepad on your Desktop, rename it
MyNotePad

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.
