View Options Reverting to Thumbnails

I use "thumbnails" for pictures, "Icons" for audio clips,
and I'll use "Details" for downloaded music. Every now and
then, one (or more) of the folders will automatically
switch to "Thumbnails". It happens in my "Control Panel" a
lot also, where I usually have them set to "Icons" instead
of "Thumbnails".

There's no pattern to this and it's driving me up a wall,
especially when my "Details" have been switched
to "Thumbnails" and I have to reset all my chosen details.

Make sure that in "Folder Options", "Veiw" tab, scroll
down and the box beside, "Remember each folders veiw
settins" has a check mark in it, if not put one there.

I've tried that. Doesn't help. But thanks for the reply.
Hoping to find someone else that has had the same problem
that might've found a solution to it.
