Video in Powerpoint

Any tips on putting video files in Powerpoint for Office 2003?

I can mod the vid file to any format. I am looking for tips that prevent a movie from making the ppt crash happy. No matter what I
will have a 2nd version with no vid as a backup, and I will test the vid version thoroughly.

Thanks in advance!

The trick to distributing PowerPoint files with media is putting the media
into a format other machines will be able to play. You can of course do
this manually but I'd like to suggest you give PFCMedia a try. You may
download the fully functioning two week trail (no cost) from
