Video Freeze?

hi all!
I have converted several FLV videos to WMV. They play just fine in WMP. I'm
trying to edit/combine them in WMM. After editing the entire movie plays
fine in preview. After I publish when I try to play the completed video in
WMP it starts fine but about 1/3rd of the way through the video freezes
however the audio and the time counter continue on.
This has also occurred when just trying to edit one of these short,
individual videos, it plays fine at the start but part way through the same
thing happens.

WMV files can be compressed with many different codecs... FLV to WMV
conversion apps have choices... you may need to explore whatever you're
using and try something else.

I'm currently studying how effective the free Quick Media Converter is
versus the moderately priced Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate.

When you post about having done file conversions, it would be good to
include info about the software and version you're using. There are many of
them available.

oops sorry!
I'm using KoyoteSoft Free FLV Converter V6.21.0

I should add that I've just converted a short file (under 2 min), edited it
in WMM and it plays without freezing in WMP...
The other files I was using it on were anywhere from 2 to 10 min in length

Hopefully that means you resolved your issue.... I've never used that
conversion tool and don't have any comments to add.
