video effects are missing-- need help

I no longer have any of my video effects or transitions. I have done all the
updates and they are still missing. Can anyone help me located them or aquire
some for free?

I have the same issue - I have found that I can restore the registry keys for
the video effects and transitions, but when I open Movie Maker, the registry
keys are deleted. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been through that several times and it has not helped. I've resorted to
uninstalling Studio 9 and going back to version 8 which doesn't cause this
problem.

Sorry this was the wrong forum for this response - this does not resolve the
issue with transitions and effects missing in Movie Maker.
