Does video codecs for Windows XP work for Windows Vista?
If not, anybody got any ideas of where I can download some?

Most XP codecs seem to work OK with Window Media Player in Vista. Many XP
codecs do not work with Windows Media Center. This means a video may play in
WMP but not in the Media Center. xVid has this problem.

Media Player Classic with K-lite codecs has worked for me. Only have RC1
though.

Yes, with Media Player Classic, XP codecs work. I've used it since the early
betas when WMP or Media Center wouldn't play something.

Sry, but how do I check what version of Vista I'm running? :)
