video codecs

i just installed deer hunter 5 after a long period of time. my how times have
changed. i now have to pay $15 to download video codecs to run a game i have
purchased and already used extensively in the past. IS THERE ANYWAY FOR ME
TO PLAY THIS GAME FOR FREE?

This should be fixed in SP2, so if you aren't using that, you ought to be
using it!
