Video Clips

I have edited my video clips with windows movie maker, however, when I do
that, it converts them to WMV files and I need MPEG files. I have searched
online for free converters but I can only find the sample ones that only
convert part of the file or if they do convert them then it puts sample over
the screen. Does anyone know of any actual free wmv converters to MPEG? Or is
there another way to edit an MPEG's sound quality and to put a fade in from
black at the beginning of the clip and a fade out to black at the end of the
clip?

No reason for it to be mpeg, Movie maker has all sorts of fades you can use
with the existing file. (Unless you are shooting for Mac compatibility.)

Stephanie,

There is a free piece of video convertor software - that's very good - but a
little difficult to learn how to use.

It's called Super from erightsoft.

It will not do video editing though.
