Video clips in slide won't show in full screen

I've inserted two video clips in a slide for a class presentation. They show and play perfectly until I play in fullscreen to view the show. Then, the video blocks don't show, there's no hand pointer, nothing. I've checked everything I know to check. Any ideas? Thanks

You'll need to tell us what version of PowerPoint and Windows you are using,
and what type of video files they are. You might want to make sure that you
have the latest version of DirectX installed and that your video driver is
the latest available from the manufacturer of your computer or your graphics
card.

Do you get audio with no video? If so, try going to your video properties
(right click on the desktop), depending on your video driver you need to get
to the hardware acceleration settings. Lower one notch and try the video.
Keep doing this until the video plays.

I'm hoping you have an answer to this question as I'm
having the same problem...almost. My videos (.avi running
in PPT03 w/ WinXPpro) will play, but when they stop, or
when I pause them, I have no pointer to exit with.

Have you tried wiggling the mouse a bit? If you click the mouse anyway,
does the slide advance? Or if you press N, does it advance?
