I dont know if its my vid card or monitor. But it started where puter would
not start up once in a while. Now its every day. It will say please check
your monitor. ANd I do its all plugged in. SOO i took the vid card out and
put it in the freezer LOL. dont ask why someone told me to. ANd it worked
again. Now I have to run it with a big fan on my puter. IS this a sign of bad
video card? stupid question? HEHE but would updating drivers help? The fan is
slowly not working for it. Will I be able to run it with out hte gforce ti
200 vid card? IF i take it out. Even if it looks crappy I dont care i just
need the puter now to look for jobs and stuff.

Do you have a fan on the Video Card itself? I have a Gainward GeForce
Ti-200 with a cooling fan for the
video processor. The fan quit working and now I just have a regular case
fan positioned right next to the video
processor and it keeps it cool. You can't run your system without the
GeForce Ti 200 unless you have a video
chip built in on the Motherboard. You do probably need a new Graphics
Card.

Your video card is obviously overheating. Your card isn't bad if it works
fine with a big fan blowing onto it. You know the fan on it that came with
it is dying. Install some case fans to get the heat out (like one in the
front and one in the back, at least) and there are some made that take up a
slot but will blow right onto your video card or even attach at slot screw
and blow down on it, etc. Real cheap fix.
