Why can I make individual groups under collections for pictures but videos show up each as their own collection?

What I mean is I can make folders under collections for pictures, such as a 'Cars' group and a 'Trucks' group and then under each a
bunch of photos. But when I try to import video clips to collections, each single clip gets listed on the same level as the 'Cars'
and 'Trucks' groups.

Yes, that's just the way it works.... it helps lots by doing it that way
when you have a one hour video being imported and you use the auto clip
detection feature... hundreds of clips end up in a folder and its best not
to have them mixed with hundreds of other clips from another source file.

Once the clips are in the new collection, it's easy to select them all and
move them to any other folder you want to. A Control-A to select them all
and a drag and drop is all that is needed to move dozens or hundreds of them
at once.
