Very strange file in startup;sys config utilty-SHhowLomControl

Hi,
In the course of troublshooting IE7 Beta 2 issues; I happened upon a very
strange startup item.
in the sysconfig utility under startup there is an item just identified by a
little rectangle.
in the command line;the same-a little rectangle(like a checkbox;but a little
smaller and wider.
No description-nothing zip!! The location is
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Run.
Can't find it anywhere-even to isolate it. It's a non-typical geometric;not
on my keyboard.
This is a brand new install of XP Pro upto date. Even with that WGA
nonsense. Any help?
Found it. Anyone know what ShowLomControl is? or what it does???

Appears to be associated to Dell Quickset power options. Something
about the entry here: http://www.schmid.dk/wiki/index.php/Hardware

You may be right. This is a brand new Dell laptop.
