Very frequently in Internet Explorer a blank page comes up

Very frequently, when I click on a link in Internet
Explorer, a blank page comes up. However if I refresh the
blank page, a web page will come up. This problem only
started recently. I am using Internet Explorer version 6,
SP1 and Windows 2000, SP4. How can I get links to display
web pages most of the time without being taking to a blank
page and having to refresh that page?

Easy - use Netscape.

I know it's a smart-a** thing to say, but that is the
reason I don't use IE at home. In my personal opinion, IE
stops searching for websites way too quickly, where
Netscape seems to keep plugging away at finding the site
you want before returning any kind of error/cached
page/blank page.

Plus you may want to address this more towards the IE
newsgroup.
