Verizon DSL Problems

I've been having problems with my DSL Provider, Verizon, in terms of
connecting. There was a DNS error and they pointed me here. I cannot connect
to the Internet and the LAN is perpetually acquiring an IP address. Hitting

the repair button has lead to either the aforementioned DNS error or an
invalid IP address. All the settings are on automatic for IP addresses and
whatnot. I have no idea how to resolve this one.

LaKeith,

If you tried Repairing the connection, and got no results, it's possible that
you have an LSP / Winsock problem.

If that doesn't help, you might want to diagnose the problem.

Also, DSLR Forums has a forum devoted to, and frequented by, Verizon customers.

Paranoia is not necessarily a bad thing - it's a normal response from experience.
