Veritas Software?

Recently a collegue and myself have stumbled across an
MSI builder in Windows XP and 2000 Pro. On the machine
we found it on it was under the "C:\Programs" directory.
According to the owner of the machine, (Running both a
Win 2k Pro, and Win XP Pro partitioned on the same HD),
this software comes with both Operating Systems, but it
must be "ulocked" to use it. I was wondering if anyone
can verify the owner's information The Veritas Software
exists, and if it does how do we "unlock" it.

Thank You in Advance

Veritas WinInstall LE was included with Windows 2000.
The software has moved from Veritas to OnDemand Software in the meantime. As
far as I know it's not included with XP, but a version that's compotible
with XP is available for download from OnDemand Software:
http://www.ondemandsoftware.com/

Note that only the LE version is free, but you have to pay for the full
WinInstall version.
