Windows XP VBA string as formula

I have the following String: "=2+4"
and i want the value 6 as a variant or integer
Is there any function that i could use?
What about the string "= AD2+2"
I don'e want to write it in excel, because i am creating a user defined function and if i modify any value of the worksheet i get the Value error.

Can any one please help me.
